| Currently available for one off babysitting jobs or short term child care. I am an experienced child carer having worked as a nanny, teacher, tutor and foster carer to hundreds of children. I have 26 years experience as a qualified teacher (Early Years as well as KS1 and KS2). Prior to that I worked as a live-in nanny for 3 children (0, 2 and 3 years of age), and have experience of babysitting. I currently work as a part time nanny to two little boys as well as for an after school tuition company, and am an approved Foster Carer for social services. | Hi, I’m Laurena (but everyone calls me Rena!) I have a level 3 in childcare and have 13 years experience working with children in a variety of ages. I was a full time nanny up to Dec ‘23 where I left to start my own family. The family I nannied for employed me for over 8 years, and we had planned my redundancy at Easter ‘24 as the children are all grown up! We are all still very close and the children are Aunt and Uncle to my baby boy! I have a 6 month old little boy, Harrison, who I am hoping to bring with me to a nannying position. With this being said, I think a position with school aged children would be best suited to us. Ideally after a school drop off/pick up position. I have a full clean driving license and my own can which I am happy to use for mileage reimbursements. I’m located in Aveley but happy to travel for the right family.
