| I am currently half way through a masters degree in child and adolescent psychotherapy. I have diplomas in Equine therapy (horse assisted) Gestalt Therapy, Child counselling. I have 150 hours of clinical child counselling work with children between the ages of 4 and 18 and 50 hours of supervision so far for my studies. I have been working as a 1:1 teaching assistant and mental health assistant in early years and primary schools for the past 5 years. I have been a child carer in SEND children's homes and non SEND children's homes. I am currently working part time as a SEND play coordinator for Harlow Council. I draw heavily on Piaget and Erikson's developmental theory as well as Bowlby's attachment theory in my work as well as Play therapy. I work with sand tray, puppet play, sensory play and all kinds of art as part of learning and development.
