| Over the past ten years I have worked as a professional nanny and household manager in California, Hawaii, and Italy. I specialise in infant and toddler care, with proficiency in Italian language and an MSc from the University of Edinburgh in English Literature. My approach to childcare includes a combination of positive reinforcement, natural-consequence disciplinary methods whenever possible (such as a time-outs when overwhelmed), and a focus on follow-though.

| I have been a nanny to a family of two young boys for the past year and have experience looking after a friends newborn. I have looked after children during the day and over night for over 5 different families with ages ranging from 3-13. I have taken them out for ice cream, to the park, on their scooters etc. I have helped with homework practised a little French with them, and completed lots of arts and crafts. I can cook well and like to involve the children all the time in both the cooking (only the preparing if they are young of course) and the cleaning. I love children so it is an enjoyable job. | I have worked as an after school assistant, and an assistant for a kids forest education. I’m able to cook and and clean. I’m good with animals as I have a dog of my own. I’m able to help out with homework too. I have also had previous experience working as a care assistant.
