| Hello! I have been caring for children in many different ways since I was 16 years old. I have been a babysitter, a nanny, a summer time nanny, a teaching assistant for kids with special needs, a teaching assistant in a high school behaviour class, and now am studying to be a Primary School teacher. I have worked with kids of all ages, as well as kids with special needs aged 4-19. I’m looking for some part time work to make a bit of money while I’m finishing my graduate degree. | I’ve taught dance for 8 years now to children aged 2-18. I worked in a nursery for a year while completing my HNC in early education and childcare. After this I moved to the US to be an au pair for 2 years. I watched their 3 children age 6 months, 3 and 6(on arrival) 45 hours per week taking care of all basic needs and wants and always ensuring their safety. I done homework, breakfast, lunch and dinner. I also took them to swimming lessons and other clubs. I helped with child related housework such as their washing, tidying the bedrooms, playroom etc. I had the children myself for a week on two occasions while my host parents went to Hawaii. I understand every child has their own needs and wants no matter how small. I can be adaptable and flexible when working with all children to gain the best outcome. Becoming a mum (April 2019) has taught me more that I thought I already knew. Due to the pandemic I have been left with only 1 day of childcare for my son. I would be looking for a family willing to let me bring him along most days. He’s a happy boy who loves to explore, dance, and read books. There are times where my inlaw can have him but her shifts change 2/3 weeks at a time. I can provide safe car seats.
