Nannies in Driffield

| I have experience working as a Nanny for 10 months for 2 girls aged 11 and 14. I tended to the children in the early morning from 7am til 9am in which time I got them up and ready for school i.e sort breakfast and school bags and so on. I then saw to the children after school, double check if they need help with homework and sort activities I.e baking, board games, sports etc. Although I can be up for spontaneous adventures too!! .I also gave the house a general tidy and clean. I saw to the pets and sorted laundry too. Come 5pm I sorted teatimes. This was such a challenging yet rewarding job and it has helped me to gain valuable experience with children growing up. Over my time working as a Nanny I have learnt methods and skills in working with children including disciplinary tactics and communicative skills to connect socially and emotionally. I also have experience working as a volunteer in a primary school as teaching assistant which led to me being a lunchtime assistant in the school also. I have been around children pretty much 24/7 the past year and it has been the most fun and rewarding job to me. I also completed a First Aid course on September 3rd and I have an Enhanced DBS. I have regular hobbies such as seeing friends and going to football and rugby matches. I am looking for any work with children ranging from nannies to nursery nurses. I also have a full clean driving licence.I am trained in first aid for babies and todders and have done epileptic training as i occasionally look after a 3 year old who has been diagnoised with this .

I then stayed at home to look after them, and when they started school I was lucky enough to get a job in a school, so I could work around my children. In school I have worked as a lunchtime supervisor, a one to one lunchtime supervisor with children with special needs, and did a year as a teaching assistant with an autistic child.I have 2 grandchildren that I totally adore and spend a lot of time with.
