From the age of 18 I became a nanny until I had my own children in 1998. I then stayed at home to look after them, and when they started school I was lucky enough to get a job in a school, so I could work around my children. In school I have worked as a lunchtime supervisor, a one to one lunchtime supervisor with children with special needs, and did a year as a teaching assistant with an autistic child.I have 2 grandchildren that I totally adore and spend a lot of time with. I love spending time with children watching them grow. I am still in contact with the children I was first a nanny for 32 years later.
