| My current role in a nursery setting consists of providing excellent childcare for the children I am responsible for. My experience ranges from children 8 months to 4 years old. I provide children's meals, ensure nappies are changed, and help the children get to sleep at naptime. I also provide stimulating activities and experiences that help to further the children's development and meet their individual needs. I really enjoy getting to know each child and understanding them on their level so I can support them fully in their learning. | I have always enjoyed working with children and have helped to care for younger family members. Last year I completed my level 2 childcare qualification where I have learnt valuable information which I hope to use when caring for your children. For the duration of my course I volunteered in a local nursery school which led to me being offered a temporary contract there as a 1:1 SEN assistant form February-June 2020. I wish to further continue my progression and knowledge and use my skills to help parents feel confident in leaving their children in my care. I completed a basic makaton training course in tech which I would love to be able to use more confidently. I also completed an autism taster session and online webinars to gain more knowledge and understanding into the minds of those with autism and how to best help them and encourage their development.
