I have always enjoyed working with children and have helped to care for younger family members. Last year I completed my level 2 childcare qualification where I have learnt valuable information which I hope to use when caring for your children. For the duration of my course I volunteered in a local nursery school which led to me being offered a temporary contract there as a 1:1 SEN assistant form February-June 2020. I wish to further continue my progression and knowledge and use my skills to help parents feel confident in leaving their children in my care. I completed a basic makaton training course in tech which I would love to be able to use more confidently. I also completed an autism taster session and online webinars to gain more knowledge and understanding into the minds of those with autism and how to best help them and encourage their development.
