I am a Student enrolled at Edge Hill Univerity studying Creative Writing.
I move to the UK over two years ago for my education and have been loving it here. I was born in the United States, but I mostly grew up in Germany. As a result, I speak German and English fluently. Most of my education was in Germany, in the European School. Here I was brought up with both of these languages and was taught many skills that I still value today, such as take every task given seriously, asking when I have questions about what to do and cooking class that even help today.
During high school, I also took care of kids ranging between the ages two and eight years. While babysitting, I had to take on a wide variety of task, ranging from taking the kids to the pool on public transport, cooking meals, helping with homework and supporting them while they were learning to read and write. Beyond that, I was tasked with putting the kids to bed, bathing the younger ones and making sure they were ready for bed. While working with a specific family, I also learnt how to deal with difficult kids, sibling fights and even to deal with problems that aren't 100% every day
