I have an nvq level 3 qualification in childcare and development. I began my career in childcare working in a virgin crèche where I spent many years caring for children aged from 6 weeks up to 12 years working my way up to team leader. From there I then became a nanny to a boy who at commencement of my employment was 14 months old. He was then also joined by a younger brother and my oldest son also came along too. I spent 6 years with the family leaving in July 2018 to then have my second son. My fees are negotiable. £12 ph is for after school nanny. If full days would charge £11ph Would also charge slightly less if bringing along my 2 year old. I am also not looking for a cash in hand agreement and would want to be employed with contract etc

| The skills i have for working with children, parents/ carers and as an individual is patience and good communication skills, this will build a trusting relationship between not only children but with parents/ carers as well. I cope well with time management and multitasking, when engaging with children i always ensure all children are included and do not feel excluded. | I am a 23 year old creative who has unfortunately had upcoming work cancelled because of Covid-19. With schools shutting down and kids being off, I understand a lot of parents might need childcare right now- which is where I can help! I come from a big family and have a lot of younger cousins who I used to look after growing up. I have also volunteered as an English Teacher in Sri Lanka where I taught children aged 3-7 across a language barrier. I studied English Literature at university and was awarded a First Class Honours. I can thus offer more than just child care, also helping to tutor children and help with their homework. Having practiced yoga and meditation since I was 16, I have a calm, positive and adaptable mindset that allows me to cope well under pressure. I am incredibly creative and often create fun games, crafts and learning excercises that I practice with my younger cousins. I also think during this uncertain/scary time it is important for kids to go walking and get exercise so they can exert some of their energy! | I am a registered ofsted childminder with over 18 years experience. I care for children from newborn until secondary school. I currently do 4 school runs St johns primary school, copperfield, higham primary, St georges. I have 3 kids of my own. 20year old boy, 15year old girl and a 10 year old boy. I live with all 3 kids and my husband . I hold a first aid certificate and safeguarding certificate that I always keep up to date. I had my ofsted inspection in February which the inspector was so pleased with what she saw. I have a beautiful garden which kids absolutely love. A playroom and a house full of toys and space for them all to have fun and learn. I also follow the Eyfs which gets children to be independent and confident and learn so they are ready for school. On a Thursday after school we have swimming lessons which mostly all the kids attend. I also do school holidays where I take the kids out on lots of outings aswell as enjoying the garden and my setting.
