Childcare in Almond

| I am a happy, reliable, security conscious and responsible person with patience and much kindness. I enjoy children and animals and would love to work with both on a part time basis. I am currently doing ad hoc duties as follows: Babysitting a gorgeous 10 week old - night time routines, bathing, feeding. Companion to a lovely older gent - we enjoy short walks, coffee and cake outings, museums, occasional sleepovers. School pick up twice a week for a lovely 6 year old and her older brothers – homework, snack and crafting. Dog sitting – I stay over with a dog regularly – a rescue dog who was very nervous but is improving slowly. We do a lot of nurturing and calming. A little bit about me … I am well traveled having lived and worked overseas (United Nations) and thoroughly enjoy meeting people who may have differing nationalities or diversities. My childcare ethos is positive reinforcement, kindness and caring. I grew up with ponies, cats, dogs, rabbits and the occasional ferret. I volunteered with a dog & cat shelter when I was overseas, washing, feeding and walking.

| Hello, My name is Kat and I'm a trained Midwife, new to Edinburgh! I am starting a job as a midwife in Kirkcaldy in April but I'm looking to have a temporary job as a Nanny for March. I have lots of experience in childcare and am DBS checked and first aid trained. I am able to start from the 5th March. This would be ideal for someone needing immediate short term cover.
