Brand new family-run afterschool care in North Greenwich offers Mandarin, Chess, Art, STEM programs. Can pick up children from local area ( Greenwich, North Greenwich and Tower Hamlets)
Unlike other childminder, our centre won’t have the children sit around and do nothing but instead will have the following activities offered
Mandarin (Ages 3-4, 5-7, 8-10)
At Ava Montessori, children have the opportunity to learn the Mandarin language and Chinese culture. Our native-speaking teachers use a communicative approach and lots of gestures, games
Chess (Ages 5-7, 8-10)
Our program integrates lessons on openings, tactics, endgames, strategy, tournament skills and sportsmanship.
Art (Ages 3-5,5-7,8-10)
In our program, child will develop their artistic expression through mediums including paint, collage, crayons, pencils, they also learn about basic elements of art, including shapes, lines, textures, and styles.
STEM (Ages 3-4, 5-7, 8-10)
The overarching principles of science, technology, engineering and maths, children will learn to “decode” their world and to develop the problem-solving skills required to creatively meet the demands that their life and the future will bring.
