Childminders in Esher

Hi, my name is Frida and I am 38 years old, married with two children aged 4 and 6. I have worked as a child minder for the past year and offer child care in my home. I love the fact that I can look after my own children at the same time as I am doing a job that I love. I believe its very important for children to feel safe, happy and secure in a loving environment as they will then feel safe and confident and being able to develop a genuine bond with me and my family. We are an animal loving family and have three cats which are all very friendly with children. I love spending the days doing arts and crafts, baking, role plays and helping out in any way I can to support your child's individual needs. We have a lovely garden and are very lucky to live in a cul de sac where we can go on bikes or scooters, obviously under strict supervision and where the cul de sac is made up with many young families. We are walking distance from several lovely playgrounds, soft plays, members of Wisley gardens and Nuffield health gym (which got a swimming pool), so spoilt for choices for days out. | After more than 20 years in the Education and Youth Sector, I made the decision to become a Ofsted registered and qualified Childminder. As a former teacher and mummy of one (6 year old), I experienced first hand the value of a Childminder. My family benefitted from the more flexible, one on one approach that a Childminder offered and I therefore understand the importance of my role. My setting will care for children from birth to 8 years and will provide daily activities and opportunities based on the EYFS where children will learn through play. I have one main room that will be used for activities, games and can also be used as a relaxing area in the late afternoon. I have a wealth of resources and books which will continuously be rotated. Jolly Minds is around the corner from two lovely woodland areas and is also located within walking distance from Claygate common which has lovely green space with a playground suitable for all ages. I have an enclosed and well-equipped garden where your child can safely and securely explore the space with a variety of toys to share and play together. I provide healthy, nutritious snacks and meals for all the children in my care. I can do pick up and drop offs at local schools.
