After more than 20 years in the Education and Youth Sector, I made the decision to become a Ofsted registered and qualified Childminder. As a former teacher and mummy of one (6 year old), I experienced first hand the value of a Childminder. My family benefitted from the more flexible, one on one approach that a Childminder offered and I therefore understand the importance of my role. My setting will care for children from birth to 8 years and will provide daily activities and opportunities based on the EYFS where children will learn through play. I have one main room that will be used for activities, games and can also be used as a relaxing area in the late afternoon. I have a wealth of resources and books which will continuously be rotated. Jolly Minds is around the corner from two lovely woodland areas and is also located within walking distance from Claygate common which has lovely green space with a playground suitable for all ages. I have an enclosed and well-equipped garden where your child can safely and securely explore the space with a variety of toys to share and play together. I provide healthy, nutritious snacks and meals for all the children in my care. I can do pick up and drop offs at local schools.
