| I am 21 from Australia, I moved to Edinburgh in 2024. I have been babysitting/nannying for seven years now. I have always gravitated towards children, and gain as much from the experience as I hope they do. I have over 1000 hours of experience from infants to young teenagers. This experience includes school pick-up, commuting to extracurricular activities, putting children to bed, outdoor play, cooking, cleaning, bath time, and organised activities. I have babysat up to four children at a time and also love pets. :) I have worked with parents in the house, but primarily as the sole child-minder. I networked myself and gained trust and contacts through word-of mouth recommendations and experience at home. I can provide many references with contact information to reach out to my previous families! I understand babysitting requires trust, responsibility and compatibility: I always suggest meeting and having a trial experience with the children beforehand!
