Childminders in Ashford

| I have been childminding for over 10 years and on my last Ofsted inspection I received a 'GOOD' rating. Previously I have 3 years experience working in nursery and baby units and as a nanny in Oslo for a year. I'm a strong believer in keeping children busy and learning about life in a safe yet interesting way. For me it's all about thinking outside the box and making learning fun and creative. Our days are spent discovering new and wondrous things. I believe children develop a better understanding and are generally happier when experiencing new things themselves in a safe and managed way which helps them build and improve confidence, independence and new skill sets. We do projects through the year including rearing butterflies, tadpoles and frogs and growing our own vegetables. I have a spacious 3 bedroom house with an open plan downstairs area used for childminding which gives children the opportunity to free flow play and ensures they can see me and I them while we all play.

| I absolutely love children & am currently a Childminder but would very much like to change my career to beginning a nanny & nurturing just one family ☺️ I am very friendly, loveable & full of fun!!! ☺️

| I have previously done volunteering with children in a nursery as part of my work experience . I have also baby sat my neighbours little boy for a few hours . Picked him up from nursery school took him to MC Donald's for a treat getting him a happy meal because the teachers said he was a good boy and was proud with his progress in reading got him home made sure he was situated he was happy enough just sitting down watching his favourite cartoon show PJ masks
