Childcare in Bridgwater

| Hi, I'm Fahema! I have extensive experience caring for children within my family. I love engaging with them through storytelling (I even write my own!), creative activities, and hands-on crafts. I have also worked as an ICU nurse for more than six years in Egypt. Beyond childcare, I have a background in marketing and advertising, but I am excited to focus on a new path working with children. I enjoy cooking, reading, painting, crocheting, and making candles—activities I love sharing with little ones to keep them engaged and learning in a fun way.

| My name is Stacey and I am 41. I have 3 children aged 10 and two 17 yr olds. I completed the level 3 Btec NatDip Caring Services (nursery nursing) when I left school. I then worked as a part time nanny. I have also worked as an Ofsted registered childminder. In 2003, I completed the level 4 Cert in Health & Social Care with the Open Uni. My most important childcare experience has been as mum and step mum. I am DBS cleared and a full driving license. I am reliable and caring and I am fully aware of how important continuity of care of children is between care givers. I live in Bridgwater. My ten yr old daughter is home educated so I am happy to undertake childcare needs for other home ed children. I have SEN experience as my youngest has specific learning needs and is suspected high functioning autistic. I recently completed level two mental health awareness course through Bridgwater college and have almost completed the children’s mental health awareness level two. I shall be starting a counselling course next.

| I am level 2 qualified in early years and childcare and have a part time job and hope to get an apprenticeship and get my level 3 qualifications and hopefully have a career in childcare I am happy to take any age child to local fetes, parks, fairs or to just stay home and do some activities, some of which are arts and crafts, outdoor play, role play, helping to cook meals (if needed) or just simply chilling out and watching a movie to prepare or bed. I love seeing how young children grow and develop and helping them to be themselves. I always plan my activities on the childs interests. However my hours do vary as I currently work but I am happy to give you my shifts and can try to amend them when possible. I will always be free every Monday before 4:30 and Sundays before 3.
