| Hi I love looking after children, I have grown up with younger nieces and nephews. I try to make things fun, to keep them occupied and make them feel comfortable.I regularly go and help look after twin my friends 3 children (wich I have cared for them since they were babies). This includes babysitting while their parents are at work, or when they need extra help. I attend to their personal needs as well as playing games, reading to them ###.#### learn during play, which encourages social skills, promotes good manners, enhances their language development and enables them to express themselves. I briefly worked voluntarily with children who had disabilities, where they could learn through dance and music. Unfortunately I had to leave because of personal ill health from which I have now fully recovered. My mother has disabilities and I care for her when her condition becomes exacerbated, requiring assistance. I am a very adaptable, caring person, able to cook, and attend to household tasks. | I began babysitting for friends of my family from the age of 14 and started working in a nursery around my 16th birthday. I have been working part time there for nearly three years and absolutely love it!! I am going to university locally in September to become a primary school teacher and am currently awaiting my alevel results in English literature, English language and sociology. I have two cats (my babies Eugene&Rapunzel) and a fish (Leeroy). I have always lived in a very pet-friendly house and whenever we go on holiday we always find some stray animals to love and secretly sneak food when we’re there! I enjoy reading, gardening and going to concerts. I have a fully enhanced DBS certificate, paediatric first aid, as well as other courses that I have completed outside of my work’s requirements such designated safeguarding lead level 3, level 3 food hygiene and multiple sign language courses to help me communicate better with children at work who are all at very different stages of development.
