I began babysitting for friends of my family from the age of 14 and started working in a nursery around my 16th birthday. I have been working part time there for nearly three years and absolutely love it!! I am going to university locally in September to become a primary school teacher and am currently awaiting my alevel results in English literature, English language and sociology. I have two cats (my babies Eugene&Rapunzel) and a fish (Leeroy). I have always lived in a very pet-friendly house and whenever we go on holiday we always find some stray animals to love and secretly sneak food when we’re there! I enjoy reading, gardening and going to concerts. I have a fully enhanced DBS certificate, paediatric first aid, as well as other courses that I have completed outside of my work’s requirements such designated safeguarding lead level 3, level 3 food hygiene and multiple sign language courses to help me communicate better with children at work who are all at very different stages of development.
