I have a very keen interest in working with children especially as I am currently (and have been for 3 years) working within a school with children anywhere from nursery to year 6. Within this job I work in groups as big as 30 and also on a daily basis 1:1 with SEN/behavioural children meaning I have a wide variety of skills and competence in dealing with different situations/needs of children.
I am happy to be as hands on as required and as much as I don’t have specific experience in babysitting I have done it within the family and neighbours of my area for the last 6 years.
I love to get children engaged in different activities, take them places if needed and help get them to bed and settled and clean for the night. Through my years at school I have gained good qualifications in areas such as health and social care and also studied nursing for 2 years at uni. I have my own car and clean drivers license which I am happy to use when caring for children. I am currently free most week nights after 4 and weekends where needed. However, If the job and circumstances are right I am more then happy to convert and work full time during the week as a child’s career.
