Childcare in Altrincham

| I'm a former nursery worker, preschool teacher and private nanny who spent years working in the childcare industry who is now looking to babysit to earn some extra money. I work full time as a zoologist but the cost of living crisis means I need to supplement my wage. I also worked as a private tutor, a children's party entertainer and a lacrosse coach from ages 4 all the way to 16, so I have a wealth of experience working with children of various ages. I have an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in childcare, I'm a fully qualified first aider (I've even done the paediatric first aid training in the past) and I'm DBS checked. I also completed Sure Start training in 'supporting children on the autism spectrum' and 'supporting children with English as a second language' and I have level 2 certificates in 'food safety' and 'health and safety'.

| Ive worked in a nursery and got my level 3 in early years childcare doing an apprenticeship and I’ve got experience in looking after children and meeting their needs, nappy changes, preparing food, and also keeping up with training.

| I am a mature adult with lots of childcare experience as have 3 x grown up daughters who have recently left home .I am currently self employed in the Travel Industry but due to Covid 19 and the unpredictability of travel I am looking for a change of career . Although I do not have any formal childcare qualifications; I do believe I have the experience & skills necessary; giving 100% commitment and engagement at all times to any children in my care. My husband and I live locally in Halebarns too and have raised 3 fabulous healthy daughters who attended local schools and playgroups. They are in their late teens/early twenties and have all now left home . I am a fit, healthy person and love to be active so would ensure I brought this energy to any future position. FYI I have completed a first aid at work course and was CRB checked for my role in the Family counselling centre but would be happy to get both of these updated.
