After School Care Nelson

| Hello there! My name is Tess, I am 28 years old and live in the Ribble Valley. I am a graduate and hold a degree in English Literature and Dance and a post graduate degree in education. I was a teacher for 2 years and then in a twist of events because a professional baker and occasion cake maker! I love children and have experience of teaching children aged 3-16 and am an aunt to 4. I have a full UK driving licence, my own car and a full, clean DBS certificate. As the child of two extremely hard working parents I remember how it felt to always be in after school clubs and activities, I'd love to do this job as it gives children a much more personal experience than group care. I should probably also throw in that I am very confident and fun, and have a lot of energy and patience for children. | I am currently working in a primary school, I have been working with children for 14 years within nurseries, schools and before and after school clubs. I currently hold a foundation degree in teaching and learning support. I have a daughter myself, she has just turned 10. I am passionate about my job and know how hard and stressful it is to find someone you can trust with your child/children. I am happy to help in anyway possible. | Hi My name is Marlyn I am 52 years of age married with 2 girls. I have had experienced working in a primary school (4years). During this time I organised and delivered activities to small groups of students. At present I work in a secondary school in a nurture group teaching students who struggle with social and emotional skills. I have done this for the past 9 years. Also I have a young boy who I have before and after school Thankyou.

| With over 20 years experience, I have worked with children from all walks of life, within a school or nursery setting, and within my own, or their home. I have worked with children from new born to 15 years, including overnight care for many children. I make it my personal mission to make sure every child in my care has the opportunity to thrive and learn about the world around them, as well as themselves. I have lots of experience in providing healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for children. I have also worked as a nanny for 3 siblings, caring for them in their own home, keeping up with housework, helping with homework and making sure the children attended all after school activities. The youngest child wasn't.in school so we went for days out to parks and farms as well as attending parent and toddler groups within the local are. I have a full license and my own car. I have two young children, aged 3 and 5. My 5 year old is in school full time and my 3 year old has three full days at nursery and two at home with me.

| Having taught in primary schools for the last 5 years, I have experience of caring for children in all aspects. As a qualified and practising class teacher, I can support families with school work outside of the school day. In my day to day life learning is important but so is having fun! I try to make children's experiences as fun and as hands on as possible. I have worked and volunteers in Nurseries right through to Secondary Schools, gaining experience of working with a range of ages. Outside of school I am an active individual and like to spend time outdoors and playing sports. I have grown up with 2 sisters and cousins younger than myself meaning I have frequently babysat for family members and friends. I'd describe myself as being a fun, responsible and reliable individual. I'm currently looking for an extra bit of work alongside my teaching job, therefore my availability would be after school/ evenings weekends and school holidays.
