Qualified Primary Teacher
|
I have an undergraduate degree in Education studies, along with a PGCE Primary 3-7. By this summer, I will have completed my final two years as an Early Careers Teacher, becoming a fully qualified professional practitioner.
Whilst completely my PGCE, I worked in nursery, reception and year 1 classrooms. Which provided me experience working with a verity of age ranges.
During my 2 years as an ECT, I have been employed as a reception teacher, alongside running an after school club for Key Stage 2 children.
Alongside teacher training, I have nannied part time for two children, often staying there during the weekend and school holidays. As I have a degree in teaching, it means that I’m able to help the children complete any homework or projects for school, whilst supporting any catch up learning and therapy programs to further support any additional educational needs.
I love teaching, however, much prefer working 1:1 with children or smaller groups; as this helps building a stronger relationship.
I love animals, going outdoors, and being creative. When I have the time, I enjoy baking, reading, going to the gym and hosting dinners for my family and friends.
