Fun, energetic and bubbly babysitter
|
I started babysitting when I was 14 - I mainly worked with a family of 3 children; 2 boys (aged 5 and 10) and 1 girl (aged 6). This involved cooking dinner, playing with the kids, and putting them to bed.
I really enjoyed babysitting and looking after children, so when I was 17 and COVID hit, I became an au pair for a family in London. I spent around 5 months looking after their two boys (aged 3 and 7). Day-to-day, I would help the 7 year old with online school, play with the 3 year old and help him with his speech therapy, cook lunch, do general cleaning/tidying and take the kids to the park every afternoon.
Whilst at Oxford, I carried on babysitting, this time looking after 3 different sets of brothers. Two of the families have sons of very similar ages (8 and 12). The third family has much younger sons. I began looking after the eldest when he was 3 months old (weekends/evenings during term time, and full days over holidays) and recently celebrated his third birthday with him. The family recently welcomed their youngest, and when he was 6 weeks old, I looked after him aswell.
I enjoy working with children of all ages and never get tired of all the different games little kids imagine up!
