After School Care Hythe

| Hi, my name is Cecilia, I am 55 years old, with DBS and Paediatric First Aid Certificate. I have experience in babysitting, After- school childcarer. | I hold a level 3 childcare qualification and have six years experience working with children from newborn to 16 years old. I currently work full time in a nursery as a room leader so I am free on weekends and after school time 3.15. I can work One to one and as a group. I am aware of the milestones children should be meeting and always put them into practice when doing activities etc to ensure the child is always learning! I also hold a relevant first aid qualification which was updated this year, any certificates can be shown. :)

| I am a qualified, level 3 childcare. I have 10 experience of being a nanny, the child was 4 years old when I started work with them. My roles I picked from school and done after school clubs. Then I would prepare a light snack and have home done. I have a lot of experience with new borns up till 21years, I able to adapt to any situation. I am paediatric, first-aid trained. I am very much hands on when working with children I can always have learning and fun activities available, that encourages the child/children to develop in their own ways. I have worked with SEN children and have a good knowledge on how to communicate and be alongside SEN children.

| I have worked in early years settings for 7 years. Alongside working full time for the last 2 years I have been an after school Nanny 3/4 days a week. I have also provided day time Nannying during school holidays. I am relocating from Leeds to Folkestone in August and looking to become a full time Nanny, or part time for potentially 2 families depending on schedules.

| I'm a well mannered, articulate and responsible nanny, with great deal of experience and interest in children and their development. I'm a confident child carer who is emotionally mature and possess high energy levels and an ability to develop close relationships with both children and families. I am able to work to an excellent standard under considerable pressure whilst presenting a positive image to others. Being with children has always been my passion because I love seeing them grow. I am responsible for the safety, well-being, care and development of young children. I'm happy to get children ready in the morning and then take them to school, read to and with the children, attend any medical appointments or social events with the children. I can also help children with after-school activities like homework, being disciplined with the children when required, washing and bathing children as well as changing nappies, providing healthy meals and snacks for the children, providing supervision and constant care to children, stimulating children to read and be active, playing with the children and taking them shopping & to the park, planning and organising age related activities and preparing bottles of milk for babies etc.

| I have previously worked at a summer camp at Spring Grove school in Wye and I have baby sitting experience taking care of a six year old girl after school twice a week. I am very kind, caring and responsible and I follow a respectful parenting philosophy at home with my daughter and I have a particular interest in Montessori and other gentle parenting techniques. I spend a lot of time preparing sensory play activities at home and taking walks in nature with my daughter and I would love to have another child to prepare these activities for. I am very calm and patient and I believe that every child is unique and progresses at their own pace and I am a firm believer in following the child's lead. I would need to take my daughter along with me due to the fact that my partner works so I would need to match with another family who is comfortable with this. I am also interested in any pet sitting opportunities.
