After School Care Deal

| I have previous nannying experience, looking after 3 children, picking them up from school, taking them home, giving them snack and overall looking after them until parents came home. Most recently I have been working in a nursery (3 years) looking after children under 1 to 4 years. Planning activities, sending daily photos and updates to parents. Planning for the children's individual needs and interests, putting children to sleep and following their home routine, also preparing afternoon snack. Knowledge of the EYFS and development of children 0-5. Not afraid of messy play and creative imagination. Most recently with covid deep cleaning all the toys and surfaces.

I stated looking for work in December 2008 I stared working at Foxwood school, I 1st worked with ASD children age 7 to 11 than in September 2009. I went down to work in key stage one with children with ASD. In the March I started working with the PMLD student in key stage on, where I came up with 'what did I do today '. Which is a book that go's home every day with 2 pitchers of what the children have done in the mornings and afternoon where and righting under the pitchers, the parents/ cares of the children in the love the books as there could look throw the book with the child and talk about their day at school. I also help sent up 2 of the students CATs assessments where me and a HLTA gathered evidence on the children communicating with symbols or using eye gaze. In 2011 I went over to work in the Children Centre with PMLD student age 3 to 7 I sill worked on the 'what did I do today' book and also work on 4 more CATs assessment. I am now working with PMLD student age 7 to 14. In my free time I'm a PA for two young boys one of them whom when I stated working this year he has delayed speech and I do a lot of intensive interaction with him, he has just started to talk a lot more and now gives a lot more eye contact with people.

| I started of doing baby sitting part time and working as a sale assistant full time. I soon realised working with children is what I wanted to pursue. I have tried to work in a nursery previously but I love giving all my attention to 4 or less children rather than a class room full and also like to work for myself so the children and I have more flexibility in our day to day routine rather than doing the same things everyday. I realised quickly after having my first full time family who needed me a few years back this is what I wish to do. Over the years I have worked with families who's childcare needs are different. I understand everyone's hours needing childcare are different as some parents / careers may have full time jobs leading to needing help, some may need childcare later than school clubs can provide, some may prefer their children to be with a nanny one on one rather than be in a nursery / after school club with less attention and many more reasons. What ever the reason may be be I am sure I will be able to help you. Everything I do regarding work is confidential so your children and yourself are protected!

| I am a friendly, kind, approachable person! I love being in the outdoors and having fun. In my spare time I like to see my friends and family and walk my dogs. Although I have no experience in nannying I have 5 years experience working with children. I have worked in Primary Schools, A nursery and a special needs school so I have lots of experience across all age groups. I prefer the younger ones! I also have experience in being a Personal assistant for a child with autism and additional needs. I am just looking for families that need my help across the week preferably Monday- Friday morning and afternoon. Will do some evenings if needed.
