| Hi, my name is Rachel and I'm an 18 year old student living in Manchester but I am originally from Belfast in Northern Ireland. I have worked and volunteered with children since I was 15 years old through camps, after school clubs and birthday parties. These children were between 3 and 13. My roles in the camps included creating activities, cleaning and supervising cooking and baking activities. This experience means that I can offer not only babysitting but I'd also be happy to cook/prepare meals and do some housekeeping if that was required! Some of these children also had special educational needs and therefore I would be able to babysit for those with additional needs. Furthermore, I achieved 8 A*s and 2 As at GCSE and 3 A*s at A-Level and I would be equipped to help children and young people with homework after school. | I am a registered childminder with part time spaces available which can be full days or morning/afternoon sessions. I have 2 children aged 10 & 12. I have worked at Camp Beaumont, a kid's summer camp, I was a camp leader and ran the morning and afternoon calls where we played and sang songs and did dances to wind up and down for the day. I was also 1:1 with special educational needs children depending on the day. I worked at Geek Retreat where I was in charge of working with younger children and playing board games and card games, I also organised children's parties. | I have a first class honours bachelor's degree in early childhood education and I have been babysitting since the age of 12. I have experience working with summer camps, preschools, after-school programs, and specialised support programs such as those provided by Barnardos. I'm currently studying a master's in psychology with the aim to support children's wellbeing. The children I work with tend to like me because I find them interesting and so I naturally pay more attention to what they say and do than most people. I'm good at picking up on what they like, and for my degree I learned how to use that skill to generate educational play activities. I am most available on Mondays, Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays.
