After School Care Coulsdon

| I have worked in childcare for nearly 20 years. I have two sons of my own (3/8) I have worked in many nursery and school settings and have also done a lot of support work for children with special needs! I have been childminding for 6 years and started off with early years but now just provide before and after school care as well as holiday care and baby sitting. I have an NVQ in level 3 as well as been on various training courses. I was graded “good” with OFSTED with only one recommendation to reach outstanding.

| I love working with children, I build a great rapport with them due to my time babysitting from the age of 15 and working in an after school children's club for children aged 3-10. I am a bubbly friendly person and can keep children occupied and happy for hours! I can drive and am able to feed, bath and change the children.

| We exist to provide an excellent Christian wraparound/out of school care and enrichment opportunity for school-age children including breakfast, after school and holiday schemes. We provide organised activities and supervised free time to enrich the intellectual, spiritual, social, and physical development of children. Hall space, computers, and outdoor play facilities are available to children for homework, play, and various other extracurricular activities.

| My name is Sherina and I am the oldest of 4 siblings. Growing up I played a big part in raising my siblings. I would get everyone ready for school. After school I would feed and get them ready for bed, I would also do any homework and reading with them. During the holidays I would keep my siblings busy by doing activities and going the park. I have daughters aged 18 and 11, by the time I had my own children I felt confident in myself due to the experience I had with my siblings and the jobs I had previously done. But I found there's nothing like being a mum it's very rewarding watching your own children learning new skills and growing. Before I had my own children I worked in nurseries with children aged 3 months to 5years. I've also worked with young people in a pupil referral unit, with challenging behaviors aged 11 to 16. Family and friends have always asked me to babysit for them. I also enjoy spending time with my 4year olde nephew doing lots of fun activities.

| During college I volunteered at an after school club and worked with children ages 5-15 which was a lot of fun, I worked mainly in the art room helping kids find their creative flair. My first nanny job was for a lovely family, I looked after the two kids aged 5 & 7 after school. I would pick them up and help them with homework, cook dinner, play with them and often take them to their evening clubs.

| I am an experienced child carer with over 15 years experience working with children aged 0-11 years. I am Ofsted registered, DBS checked and First Aid trained. I am also a mummy to 3 children ages 5-11yrs. I am happy to consider most types of childcare arrangements. However, I can only provide after school or nursery school pick-ups from the local primary school Woodcote Primary Coulsdon. I also provide babysitting on Fridays from 7PM onwards and Saturdays from 6 PM onwards.
