| I have 30 years experience in child care. I have a certificate of child care and have provided many families with excellent, caring and dependable child care in that time. I have worked as a nanny, after school carer, babysitter and for the 12 years I was teaching 2/3 year olds and for a three year period prepared healthy and varied meals for 38 children and 8 staff members in a long day care centre in Sydney Australia. I have worked for a family from ####-#### in London. This position ended when the family moved to the USA I also spent 11 months in 2018 in NY with the family to help guide the children through the transition. I have been caring for two school aged boys from #### -#### where I am now doing adhoc for the family and I’m looking for a more permanent part time position.

As the eldest in a family with 4 children I have been taking care of my younger siblings after school whilst my parents were at work since I was 11, meaning I have a lot of informal experience with childcare. I am a very responsible and diligent individual meaning all the tasks that parents want me to complete whilst they are gone will be completed to a high standard, including cooking meals, helping with homework, putting the kids to bed and I am also willing to pick up and drop off the kids from school or after-school activities, as long as the parents are ok with their children taking public transport. I am also very friendly and easygoing and I usually connect with children very well, for example I volunteered at a primary school for 2 years while I was in sixth form and formed really good bonds with the class I worked with.

I'm very responsible with previous experience babysitting kids from 2 to 9 years old for five years, I have also given private tuition to kids from 6 to 13 years old for 3 years now. I'm flexible and open-minded, I'm very good at adjusting to any situation. I love animals and spending time in the great outdoors. I'm generally good with kids, I have patience with them and I love teaching them new things and also learn from them. I wouldn't mind preparing meals for them, taking them to extracurricular, bath time or helping them tidy their rooms. I don't own a car, but I have license. Dog walking may be considered. I'm currently studying at university, therefore the perfect timetable for me would some days a week in the afternoon, but I may adjust to another schedule (we can discuss it!)
