| Hello! I am a 19 year old woman who is currently on a gap year looking to gain some more experience working alongside children. Next year, I will be attending university with the hopes of becoming a primary school teacher, which I am very excited for! In terms of experience, I have babysat for multiple different families. In addition to this, for a year I worked as an assistant for an after-school childminding service (Ofsted registered), which invoked a number of tasks, such as: picking the children up from after-school activities, walking them back to the house, helping with homework, reading to the children, playing fun games, preparing healthy meals & cleaning.

| After more than 20 years in the Education and Youth Sector, I made the decision to become a Ofsted registered and qualified Childminder. As a former teacher and mummy of one (6 year old), I experienced first hand the value of a Childminder. I have an enclosed and well-equipped garden where your child can safely and securely explore the space with a variety of toys to share and play together. I provide healthy, nutritious snacks and meals for all the children in my care. I can do pick up and drop offs at local schools.

| I am a 23 year old graduate from the University of Liverpool where I studied popular music and achieved a first degree. Before I began university I worked as a nanny to save money for travelling. I was the sole carer for a 6 year old girl and 12 year old boy Monday through Friday. I would help finish up with breakfast, get them ready for school, drive them to school, walk the dogs, do some light housework, take the children to after school clubs, helped with homework, cooked dinners, and got them ready for bed. I thoroughly enjoyed this work and have more experience in childcare when babysitting for friends and family. My current role is working for a family with 3 children (all school age primary and secondary) Doing school drop offs and pick up, housework in the day and arranging activities and play dates both after school and during the holidays. During the holidays I worked full time all day taking them to various activities, parties, holiday clubs etc whilst also planning days out for us to go to together.

I work thought out all the years, from nursery to year 6. I worked in the classrooms and in the playground and in after school activities. I then started nannying for a family than was moving from Surrey all the way to Tokyo, Japan with her 6 months old and 2 year old. I helped with house hold work. Then helping the family with moving, helping with the kids at the airport, on the flight, on arrivals and settling into their new normal. I then spent 6 months with them before coming back home.

| I began babysitting regularly for families before i started working in a nursery where i was based in the toddler and baby room. i then worked in 2 settings as work experience for my level 3 diploma in health and social care. these settings were a primary school where i worked in a reception class and did interventions for children in year 4 with SEN needs. this means i understand the current curriculum and have taught it in the same way that the curriculum suggests so i am comfortable helping primary school children with homework or revision. the second placement was working in another nursery but this time in the preschool room where i helped prepare children to start school and planned age appropriate activities for them to help their development. This year i have also been working at an after school cooking club in 2 different primary schools. this club involves children aged 6-11 and i have learnt how to cook with them in a safe way which gets them interested in healthy eating and helps them grow their independence. i also currently work at a swimming school where i help children ages 3-13 learn to swim and grow confidence in the water.
