Special Needs Care Jobs in Grantham

We're looking for someone with a happy & smiley disposition to support the clients mother with the care of her autistic son and assist with housekeeping duties. His needs are minimal as he attends a day care centre Monday to Friday 9am - 4pm. The care support would be required for either end of the day on weekdays and alternate weekends. When the support isn't being provided for the care element of the role, we would be looking for someone to fill the rest of the time as a housekeeper. Housekeeping Duties: 7 bedroom & 7 bathroom property. The property is a modern equestrian property comprising of 2 separate dwellings next door to each other. There is currently a cleaning company that attend on Monday each week to do a deep clean, so it would be general cleaning and tidying at both dwellings as highlighted below. Housekeeping duties would be general cleaning, washing & ironing, dealing with deliveries and organising as and when required. Also cleaning duties in 2nd property each week. And any other duties as required by the clients mother. Cooking Duties: preparing breakfast for the clients autistic son & occasional meals

We require someone to look after our son G once a week so we can do regular family activities with our other children, G has a number of needs including Autism, Tourette’s, PDA & adhd. He can be extremely difficult to manage behaviour wise, he struggles within a family unit which in return causes high anxiety and outbursts regularly. On his own he can be good and display good behaviour he benefits from 1-1 care.

I’m looking for a none smoker reliable lady for two to three times per week to a couple of hours max just to sit in and watch my son while I go in to town to do some jobs etc to help me out please “

My sister is 15 and recent my father started needing extra support to enable him go to work and still go out in the evenings. She is fully mobile and is able to get herself simple meals but needs encouragement. Some issues involve personal hygiene but not significant. She can also refuse to eat and this needs to be monitored. She is not normally aggressive but can become difficult if she is forced to do something she doesn't want to (e.g. eat). She feels very comfortable in her house and issues are usually outside when she is overwhelmed.

Our child is on restricted hours at school and we need help at home in afternoons to do basic school work, craft activities etc for around 3 hours in afternoons. If we find the right person, the hours may develop.

Hello, My son is 4 years old and has special needs, he hasn't got the autistic diagnosis completed yet but it has already been noted that he has it and is also going through the EHC process. He is still in nappies and is only just starting to talk. He is currently at children's 1st nursery and is picked up by a childminder at 1pm who then has him until 6pm Mon-Thurs and with childminder all day Friday 9am-6pm. Our current childminder is on Holiday 19th July-4th August and we need to cover this period. Kind Regards Steff
