I require a personal assistant to primarily assist with healthy meal preparation for batch cooking, as well as some help with day to day domestic tasks as the need arises. I follow a plant based & fish diet need to stick to healthier eating for the benefit of my health, as what I eat really affects my condition. I struggle to cook regularly due to fatigue, pain and other MS symptoms. My MS can be unpredictable, so I will also require help with light household tasks, especially if I'm unwell and not physically managing to do things which could include folding and putting away laundry, general tidying and keeping organised, loading and emptying the dishwasher and taking bins/recycling out. These tasks would depend on the time available after cooking and my needs.

A support worker is needed to enable 14 year old with learning disabilities and no sense of danger to access activities in the community. He is a delightful boy of a happy disposition, who is keen to get out into the community and discover what there is to offer e.g whether to engage in group activities with his peers or to be supported to visited the various outdoor sights Edinburgh has to offer e.g. parks, seaside, the zoo, or indoor activities including the theatre, shows, spectator sports or to engage in sports and games. This will not only broaden his horizons and experiences but also provides respite for his mother, who is his sole carer. Support is needed for 4 hours on either a Saturday or Sunday. To support 16 year old with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. He can tire quite quickly and can need to use a wheelchair depending on the circumstances. The carer's role would be to support the young person access activities and enjoy new experiences in the community, which would also provide respite for his grandmother, who is his primary carer. A support worker/ carer is needed to help with the care of an 8 year old boy, who is suffering from a progressively debilitating condition. Help is needed with his personal care including bathing and changing. The child has no speech and is blind. He cannot weight bear and therefore he has a wheelchair. He is totally dependent on others to ensure all of his care needs are met. Training will be provided by his parents and if required, by the relevant health professionals involved in his care. Support is needed for 12 hours per week on the following days - Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays and/or Sundays. 4 hour slots each day on 3 days per week Or 3 hour slots each day on 4 days per week The child doesn't currently attend school Support is needed any time between the hours 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Days and times of shifts are negotiable If interested in providing this much needed support please get in touch.
