CARER/PERSONAL ASSISTANT NEEDED - IMMEDIATE START - HOUGHTON REGIS (LU5)
I need an reliable, patient and kind natured self-employed PA with a minimum of 6 months professional experience working in either a Care Home or Domiciliary Care.
This is a part-time position and you must have an up to date DBS certificate.
I have several PAs already, but not enough to cover all the shifts I need, especially at the weekends. Ideally this role is for someone who is flexible and doesn't mind helping out at short notice if someone cancels.
Rate is £12.88 per hour, paid weekly by bank transfer, petrol is covered (minimum 45p per mile) if sent on errands, I offer double pay on Bank Holidays and time ½ for unsociable hours (between 20:00-8:00) and all protective gear is supplied onsite. You only get paid for the hours worked, so if you leave early or are sick you won't be paid for that time. You will be responsible for declaring your earnings to the HMRC as a self employed person.
The whole month is shared with all my PAs and a monthly rota is compiled and shared on a WhatsApp Group. So you get to see what everyone is doing.
I need someone to cover the weekends (5 hours 15mins a week), one Friday evening a month (1-2 hours) and potentially be flexible to do extra to cover sickness and holidays during the week.
Friday Evening (once a month)
1-2 hours anytime between 4-7pm
Saturday Morning
10am - 12:15pm
Saturday Evening
1 hour anytime between 5-7pm
Sunday Morning
10am - 11am
Sunday Evening
1 hour anytime between 5-7pm
If you are successful, you will be required to take a Covid19 test before starting, we can discuss this. Taking the Vaccine isn't mandatory.
I will let you know the full list of duties, when I hear from you.
I look forward to hearing from you.
