What I’m looking for: Someone to pick him up after school and bring him home and stay with him until I finish work. I’m a TA in a school so my finish time is about 4pm. I will also need you to have him on inset days. The job will mainly be at home, going for a walk around the estate is ok. Requirements: - sign language qualification or a basic knowledge - an understanding on PEC system - experience working with children in particular. SEN children - DBS within the last 6 months or have subscribed to the update system. A recently widowed man (18 months ago), who needs companionship and support in day to day tasks. Tasks will include chatting with him, planning meals, helping him cook new things (he can heat things up), support with life admin such as banking, etc, having meals with him (not needed every day), escorting him on trips out - mainly out for lunch. He has mental health problems and is erratic.
