Lila (pronounced lie-la) is a Bengal mix and currently 5 months old, so she will be about 9 months when she goes to stay with her sitter. She is extremely cute, clever, and funny to watch. She loves to play fetch and kick a ball around, and is very talkative! We are absolutely obsessed with her, so this is not an ideal situation but we feel confident that we can find a happy arrangement for these few months. She's very easygoing and confident (although a little apprehensive around older men) and will warm to you very quickly if you feed her and play with her, pretty much! If you are interested and we think it could be a good match, we'd meet you for a coffee to discuss everything and of course introduce you to Lila. Money would be sent for her food and litter , and anything else as and when needed. We would also take her to any vet appointments as needed and sort her flea and worming treatment. We want to make sure we find the right sitter for Lila. We work mostly from home so she is used to there being someone around most days of the week, but she can also be left for hours at a time. Our Senegal parrot Leo is 18 years old. He is teeny, green and has a huge personality. He loves sitting on your shoulder and playing on his perch. He needs someone to look after him if we go away for a long weekend or on holidays for a week. You can either take Leo into your home or sit him at our home. We are very flexible. He would need to go into a pet free home or be separate from other pets completely. If you were to sit him at our home, you could spend time with him, go in and out as you please and put him to sleep, then come back the next morning to wake him up! He needs about 5-6 hours out of his cage a day and goes to sleep at 6:30-7pm and needs 12-14 hours sleep. So it is fairly flexible. You can leave him on his perch or sit with him on your knee or shoulder as your work, read or play with him which he loves.
