Job description SUMMARY Fantastic opportunity for a proactive, energetic Housekeeper to join our small, fun, dedicated team. You’ll be at the heart of providing the very best experience for our guests in this stunning, privately owned luxury 10 bedroom manor house near Cirencester. We require someone who has an excellent eye for detail, a ‘can do’ attitude and is very much a team player. Willing to slot in and complement our existing team which comprises of a Chef, Butler, PA, Housekeeper/Host and Estate/House manager. When guests are in residence it is all hands to the pump and can be quite fast paced. However, there are quieter times when the property is unoccupied. Hours are 35 per week with flexibility to work weekends, evenings and extra hours when guests are in residence (time off in lieu given) **Please note that due to our rural location own transport is essential** RESPONSIBILIIES & DUTIES · Ensuring the house is immaculately presented and guest ready at all times · Greeting guests, helping them to settle in including unpacking and house orientation · Laundry and ironing of clothing, fine fabrics, linens etc · Serving and assisting at events · Liaising with the Estate & House Manager regarding maintenance and general upkeep tasks · Caring for silver, china, glassware, antiques and specialist items · Running errands QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS Hospitality and/or housekeeping experience would be ideal although we are happy to train someone with the right attitude Exacting standards and a genuine passion for creating and delivering exceptional service Able to lay tables, serve food and drinks whilst always ensuring a friendly and professional service Enthusiastic, can-do attitude and able to use initiative to ensure household runs incredibly smoothly Excellent people and communication skills Adaptable team player with an optimistic outlook and sense of fun SALARY & BENEFITS £25k pa (plus share of tips) · Company Pension Scheme Job Type: Full-time Pay: £30,000.00 per year
