We live in Stowmarket IP14 and are searching for a carer/housekeeper! My husband, 74, is wheelchair bound with advanced Parkinson's Disease but likes to be as independent as possible. I'm 55 and his sole carer. I have several health issues of my own which means I struggle with his care and keeping on top of the housework. I'm not 100% sure what we're looking for. I think primarily light housework, a little care for Tom (dressing, meds etc) and helping me declutter gradually. We're not the tidiest of people (!!) maybe 12 hours a week over 3 days? Possibly the odd evening or even night (so as I could have a couple of days respite). A manual car driver may be useful too if I couldn't get Tom to an appointment (I usually can!).
