We live in Southwest London and are looking for a housekeeper who can come 2-3 days per week, beginning in the mornings, for a total of 16-18 hours per week. We have a large house and garden, two dogs and frequent houseguests. Must have experience and references, and be diligent, reliable, trustworthy, cheerful and resourceful. Must speak reasonable English and able to communicate effectively via WhatsApp as well as in person. We want someone who will take responsibility for the house, maintain high standards, solve problems and proactively suggest improvements to the cleaning regime. Work involves regular hoovering, floor cleaning, dusting, laundry, moderate ironing, bathroom cleaning, managing trash and recycling etc, plus periodic tasks such as polishing silver, cleaning refrigerator and other appliances, cleaning out and organising cupboards and closets, and cleaning the gym and clearing up outdoor spaces around the house. Occasional housesitting and care of pets while we travel is also an option.
