We are a couple aged 60+. We are semi-retired and sometimes work from home. Calm atmosphere. No chaos, no small children, no messy teenagers. We are in an apartment with its own entrance to the street, which is tidy and therefore easier to clean than many others. You must have legal immigration status and you have a workable command of English. You also need to understand any verbal or text message communications by phone. We require references from two separate employers, past or present; we are happy to check with your referees by phone. Trial period is one or two times of cleaning, by mutual agreement. £14 p/h. Notice period is 14 days, unless the position needs to be terminated for any trust-violation reasons or for rudeness or repeated unreliability. We value punctuality. We like to treat our home help with respect and civility and we expect the same back. You will be a non-smoker and you will be well-presented. We are happy to consider someone aged 50+, subject to your being fit enough to occasionally use a ladder for any top bookshelves. There will also be about 30 mins’ ironing to do on most occasions.
