I’m looking for assistance with domestic cleaning in Hailsham on behalf of my elderly parents. The help that is needed is specifically: • 2 visits per week - around 1 hour each • Areas to clean and make smell fresh: downstairs WC, hand basin, lino floor; upstairs bathroom – WC, hand basin, bath/shower and surround, lino floor; kitchen – lino floor, work tops, fridge door (clean inside the fridge, when needed); living room/dining room – vacuum carpet; stairs (stairlift) – occasional vacuum of stairs carpet. My father (84 years old) is able to keep on top of most of the housework. My mother (81 years old) has Parkinson’s Disease and has help from a care assistant for 1 hour a day (9-10 am). She is unable to attend to any housework. An ideal arrangement would be for a morning visit sometime after 10 am (by when the care assistant will have departed), but I appreciate that it’s not that easy scheduling to demand.
