Hi, my name is Mary and I am looking for an elderly care provider in Spalding PE11. I would like someone who is experienced, reliable and trustworthy. Hello, I am looking to arrange care for my uncle in law in his own home in Gosberton Clough.  At present my husband and I are covering all care needs but we think he would benefit from a little extra, different person support. We live next door and I am usually around as I’m self employed.  We are looking for Monday - Friday 9.30am - 10.30ish.  He likes his routine so the same sort of time every day is preferred. He is 87 years old, mobile and continent. His memory is deteriorating gradually but he is fully aware and competent and lives alone, with our support. Care needed would be: Ensure he has had his breakfast and a drink.  He does forget to drink enough so a prompt and encouragement would be useful. Leaving a jug of squash readily available. Assistance to wash and dress.  He has heart failure so this has become difficult for him to do by himself. Ensure he has taken his medication.  I leave his tablets out for him daily and he usually remembers to take them. He also needs help with one of his inhalers. Empty his commode if needed.  This is by his bed and only used for urine in the night.  Any pots which need washing up and a quick worktop wipe down.  He has had carers before and responded well to them, he seems to listen to others better than he does us!  He is in hospital at the moment but I am keen to get something in place as soon as possible.
