Please be willing to do services such as Housekeeping, Transportation and Live-out care. Duties may vary depending on health issues that arise. My father is living in Broughton, Preston and needs daily help at the moment as he has been unwell with a chest infection which he is recovering from. He has Parkinson's disease though he is usually able to manage at home alone. We are looking for a reliable and experienced carer to help maintain his independence whilst he recovers. He has good days and ones where his mobility is reduced. He needs help in the morning such as Personal care (e.g washing, dressing), Support to make his breakfast, light housekeeping (wiping round the kitchen, clearing up spills) and Mobility support which might be helping him get his walker and get out of bed or back in. His son lives around the corner and provides this care at the moment. We are looking for someone who is close by and could build a relationship with us as a family and with my father.
