Female Care Assistant I am looking for a personal care assistant, for self-employed position. I am a spinally injured wheelchair user based in the Glasgow, Scotland. I require a person that can work 2/3 days a week and one/two sleep over, hours to be confirmed although normally 9.30am-6pm for the day shift and 11pm-9am for the sleepover, but this can vary slightly. The hourly rate is £12.50 per hour day rate, and £100.00 for the sleepover shift. The ideal candidate, though its not necessary, would have experience of intimate personal hygiene and care routines. What is essential is that they are highly reliable and that they can work to a high standard and, sometimes, tight deadlines. The ability to cover holiday and sick days of colleagues is essential. Must like cats as I have thee lovely boys who are very important to me. Must have an honest, reliable and flexible attitude towards life and work and be willing to offer an empathic client centred approach. Applicants need patience, energy, to be calm, able to use their own initiative and to possess a good sense of humour! Respect for my individuality, privacy and choices are paramount. Discretion and integrity are paramount as is the ability to work on your own initiative or under guidance.
