Punctuality and reliability are key, as is someone with initiative and can see issues and work to see things run smoothly, including laundry and keeping the kitchen and her bedroom and bathroom tidy and clean. She has three personal care visits a day, to generally, no personal care. However, on occasion this may be needed. Hours to start will probably be either of these times, but we may extend hours, if you are able to offer consistent hours. 7.30am to 3.30pm, on two weekdays. However, half days can be negotiated, and a we can share the work between a few different carers. We already work with some good carers but mum's needs have changed so we are looking to extend our hours. You will need to have a recent DBS check, and payments will only be made to people who are responsible for their own taxes, so a UTR (unique tax reference) will be necessary. if you like the position, and then we can offer pretty much regular hours, and perhaps more than one session a week if all goes well.

We are looking for a female helper who has carer experience. The lady has poor mobility but should be encouraged to be mobile. No dementia. She will need help with toileting but no washing as she gets carer support for that, three times a day. She is interested in food, and her health is dependent on healthy eating. So someone who is willing to have a go at learning cooking for her needs would be great. I have put indicative suggested times and days. It could be two 7 or 8 hour days, or up to 4 afternoons or mornings, or a combination. As long as there is reliability.
