We have a few opportunities available for carer/rehabilitation specialists = both short and long term.
Care is for a 65 year old man who is being discharged from hospital next week after an acute illness. Initially we are looking for 2 people to cover 3 x 12 hour shifts a week each (including nights) - for the first two weeks following discharge.
Following that, we are looking for someone on a long term basis.
Duties required include:
Help with mobility around the house
Assistance with exercises
Simple meal preparation
Shopping
Assistance with all daily activities.
Ideally, we would like someone with some rehabilitation experience that can help him get back on his feet. But we also need a general carer.
Applicants should be physically strong and fit as heavy lifting is required.
