• To develop a trusting working relationship with clients, the primary carer, and their families. • To support Nightingale’s clients with preparing meals detailed in the care plan. • Support clients in purchasing any dietary provisions required to provide an adequate and balanced diet where necessary. • To support Nightingale’s clients with all aspects of personal care that they require this should also be detailed in the client’s care plan. • To support Nightingale’s clients with any domestic chores including light cleaning and laundry • To support clients to administer medication if required. • To encourage all clients to be as independent as possible. • Uphold the dignity and privacy of Nightingale clients as much as possible. • To ensure clients are free of any hazards, potential risks, or any forms of abuse. • TO REPORT ALL CONCERNS TO THE OFFICE OR EMERGENCY ON-CALL. • Attend all performance evaluation techniques including supervisions, spot checks, appraisals, and staff meetings. • To attend all mandatory training as directed by your line manager • To be willing to travel between different clients’ houses. • To be able to work alone and as part of a team. • To be flexible and respond to clients changing needs. • To be able to keep accurate records of all tasks undertaken during each visit to clients.
