Kensington family looking for live-out native German-speaking nanny
NEW
by Olivia • Kensington and Chelsea
We are a family living in South Kensington, looking for a native German speaking live-out nanny who is willing to occasionally live-in.
We have two children - boys aged 4 and 6 - and a baby girl is expected by the end of January 2025.
Job is around 40 hours per week, however, there is the opportunity for many ad hoc hours. Pay dependent on experience and qualifications.
The nanny will need to be:
* Experienced with both newborns and older children.
* Flexible regarding working hours - due to the impending birth and a dad who travels for work, we are looking for someone who is willing to live in occasionally, including during weekends. This includes the first couple of months after the birth, and also afterwards, when the father is away. We have a spare room and separate bathroom that can be used by the nanny.
* Role is shared charge as the mother is home.
* Some light tidying up and assistance with the house would be required - we do, however, have a separate housekeeper who comes in the afternoons.
* Language - ideally, native German speaker. Otherwise, someone with excellent English.
We look forward to hearing from you!

Attention: looking for a nanny for 2 children.
by Martin • Camden
Hello, we are searching for a nanny to help us primarily with after school care for our 2 children, aged nearly-4 and 18 months.
The core hours would be after-school pickup for our pre-schooler (15:30-18:00 - school is ~10 minute walk from the house) Mon-Wed, including evening meal prep. We would then also like to extend one of those days to a full day of care (from 9am) for our 18 month old, to include help around the house, such as laundry, meal prep for the other days, and light housework (we have a separate cleaner who comes once a week). We could also foresee occasional additional hours in the evenings or weekends (dependent on availability, obviously), as well as some full days during school holidays.
Our pre-schooler is a high energy and chatty little boy, so we're looking for someone who can keep up with him and take him to appropriate afterschool activities, or keep him occupied with fun activities in the home. Our toddler is a music and dance loving little girl, who enjoys food and art - as much as an 18 month old can!
We are both full-time professionals, and one of us works primarily from home (we have a separate work office at the end of the garden). We've very excited to find someone who will be able to help us manage our busy lives. Please send us a message if you are interested.
