Our current after school helper is off to start a new career soon. They have been with us for 14 years and are very much part of the family. So we are now looking for a reliable and enthusiastic after school helper for our two children, aged 12 and 14. Responsibilities: • Collect the children from Hatch End Train Station and Bannisters Bus Stop near Hatch End. • Give the children dinner (we will have this pre prepared – so just a quick warm up!) • Drive the children to and from after-school activities • Oversee that the children do their homework • Ensure a safe and positive environment Requirements: • As mentioned, our current after school helper is very much part of the family. o We are not looking for prior / significant official childcare experience or qualifications. o We are looking for someone who enjoys spending time with kids / teens o May suit someone looking just to do a few hours local work or maybe someone who is newly retired • Patience and a friendly attitude. • Someone whom likes a neat / tidy home themselves would be a good fit. • Own Car, valid driver’s license and a safe driving record. • Whilst we aren’t looking for prior or official childcare experience, we would seek references. • Availability for 2.5 to 3 hours from 4/4:15 PM to 6:45/7 PM, Tuesday to Thursday.
