NANNY OPPORTUNITY** supporting a busy mum of 3 children and a baby for 36-40 hours per week, mostly across the times of approx. 3pm-7pm from Monday-Thursday; 3pm-11pm on Fridays; plus approx. 12 hours on a Saturday (start times vary week to week). Flexibility and adaptability is essential, as is experience looking after babies and pre schoolers. We are a busy, fun-loving family with four children ranging in age from 0 to 12. Our children have lots of varying interests and lovely personalities; they lead busy school lives and are very busy with extra curricular activities. As parents, we are busy professional people who run our own businesses and have a busy social life, both with and without the children. We are a family of six looking for a Nanny with lots of energy and dedication to their role. The ideal candidate will be passionate about Nannying and will place a high level of priority and commitment to the children, as we require such a high level of input and support. You will be willing to roll your sleeves up and get involved in every aspect of our children's lives on both week day evenings and weekends, with one dedicated full day off each week (Sunday, except on occasions due to special plans/unusual circumstances) but the rest of the time be prepared to be very active in terms of supporting the children's daily routines, school life and hobbies in partnership with their Mum who plays a very hands on role. We are a very busy professional family, looking for the right person to have a high level of involvement in our family life, above and beyond simple childcare. We are seeking someone who will take a genuine interest in our children and develop a strong long term bond with them, looking after them both at home and occasionally when we travel in the UK and overseas. It is a fantastic opportunity for the right person and would also be ideal for someone looking for a great base from which to live in the UK and develop their English language skills (although we are looking for someone with a strong grasp of basic English in order to communicate with our children well). Housekeeping does not form part of this role, we have a dedicated Housekeeper who handles all washing, ironing and cleaning Monday to Friday, although some (not all) family cooking, tidying, organising and basic household duties will be expected on a daily basis such as some laundry/ironing/light housework.
