We are a young family who moved into the village in January 2019. My husband and I both work in education and have two young children, a boy of 4 and a girl of 2. They are friendly, open, interested in the world and all that it has to offer! We are currently in the final stages of doing up our fixer-upper house, which includes the addition of an annex for my mum. We generally love being in the outdoors, having days out together or with friends, good music and dancing and eating good food, and trying our best to grow fruit and veg in the garden!
We have a cleaner who helps us to keep on top of the chores, and as I am due to go full-time at work from September 2021, we are looking for a nanny to support with the childcare. At minimum, this would be a Friday (daughter only), but maybe also after school in the week for my little boy or both of them. It's all quite flexible at the moment and we're happy to come to a common arrangement, which we hope to have in place for the long term.
